Kazprom operates across exploration, production, refining, and petrochemicals — with shares listed on prestigious international stock exchanges and ranked among the most sought-after in the sector.
Our principal resource base is historically located in Western Kazakhstan. We continue to expand our reserves and production capacity through exploration in foreign territories, including the CIS countries and the Middle East, alongside pilot projects targeting extra-viscous oil deposits.
As of January 1, 2023, an independent international consulting firm confirmed our proved developed, undeveloped, and undrilled reserves. Based on the security of our hydrocarbon resources relative to current production, Kazprom holds a leading position not only in Kazakhstan but among the top producers in Asia.
